Asbestos training for professionals engaged in asbestos-related activity is required under the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Asbestos Model Accreditation Plan (MAP). The MAP mandates the use of accredited asbestos professionals when conducting asbestos work activity at schools and public and commercial buildings. Asbestos Supervisor/Contractor Initial
This Asbestos Supervisor Initial Certification course is required for individuals who supervise workers performing asbestos-related work activity or has the authority to act as the agent of the asbestos contractor at the asbestos work site. The asbestos contractor/supervisor is responsible to act as the OSHA competent persons during asbestos abatement activities, providing supervision and direction to workers engaged in asbestos-related work activity. Certification as an asbestos contractor/supervisor ensures that the individuals who supervise asbestos-related work are properly trained.
The Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Initial training course is 40 hours and provides in-depth knowledge and instruction on state-of-the-art asbestos abatement methods and procedures including extensive real-life practical experience that you can immediately apply to your work activity.

Individuals seeking recertification as an Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor must be recertified before your current certification expires if you wish to continue conducting asbestos-related work activities. This Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Refresher Certification course is required for individuals who supervise workers performing asbestos-related work activity or has the authority to act as the agent of the asbestos contractor at the asbestos work site. The Asbestos Inspector Initial training course is 24 hours and provides in-depth knowledge and instruction on state-of-the-art asbestos inspection methods and procedures including extensive real-life practical experience that you can immediately apply to your work activity
Asbestos Inspector Refresher
Individuals seeking recertification as an Asbestos Inspector must be recertified before your current certification expires if you wish to continue conducting asbestos inspector activities. Certification as an asbestos abatement worker ensures that the individuals who perform asbestos related work activity are properly trained.
The Asbestos Abatement Worker Initial training course is 32 hours and provides in-depth knowledge and instruction on state-of-the-art asbestos abatement methods and procedures including extensive real-life practical experience that you can immediately apply to your work activity.

Asbestos Roofing Course
The eight-hour Asbestos Roofing course covers the regulations and requirements for any contractor who is wanting to remove intact (non-friable) asbestos roofing. The course covers the OSHA 1926.1101 standard and any State asbestos standards that would apply. Most states will allow general contractors to remove asbestos intact (non-friable) roofing, but some states will not.
